Clinical Observation of "Tangheng I Decoction" in Treating Type 2 Diabetes of Qi-Yin Deficiency

To observe the clinical efficacy of Tangheng I Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes of qi-yin deficiency, 120 subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 80 cases were treated with Tangheng I Decoction and control group in which 40 cases were treated with Zhonghuitang Maikang, both with a course of two months. Results: Good effects were obtained in both groups, but the clinical symptoms, blood sugar 2 hours after meal and saccharified hemoglobin improved more significantly in treatment group than in control group. It is suggested that Tangheng I Decoction has better effects on type 2 diabetes.
