An Investigation on the Approach to the Industrial Upgrading Within the Intra-product Specialization

With the development of the economic globalization, the intra-product specialization has become an increasing trend in international division of labor. In the present article, the mechanism of international division of labor is analyzed in the industrial upgrading process, indicating that the enterprise's involvement in the intra-product specialization should be promoted at the levels of the enterprise, industry and the government, and that the advantageous position in the global division of labor and the hi-end link of the global value chain should be gradually occupied so that a strategic advantage can be sought accordingly.
