Abstract
The significance of HAN Yu's enumerating Zhuangzi and Chuci simultaneously has four aspects.First,under the context of Confucianism,enumerating Zhuangzi and Chuci simultaneously,and putting it after the Confucian classics,has promoted the position of them.Second,It has inspired successors' thinking to the similarity of Zhuangzi and Chuci,and promoted deep research to the thoughts,connotations and art spirit of them.Third,it has promoted people to explore the reasons why zhuangzi and Chuci formed characteristic as romantic and fantastic to some extent,and get explanations in accordance with the Confucian sense largely.Finally,it has stimulated later scholars' probing to the reception history of Zhuangzi and Chuci,and made the transmission clue of Zhuangzi and Chuci in the history of Chinese literature becoming gradually clear.
