Abstract

Mr. Zhong Tai was handed down in a direct line from the master Huang Baonian who was the learned scholar of Taigu School in its mid-period. A Discussion of Zhuangzi written by him in 1960 holds the view that Zhuangzi's doctrine originated from Confucius. Mr. Zhong's originality in the academic fields and his book have long been neglected. They are of great significance to the studies of Zhuangzi and the empty and impetuous styles of study nowadays.
