Abstract

【Objective】This study was conducted to look for the candidate gene which affect cashmere traits to provide certain theoretical basis for molecular breeding in Xinjiang goat local breeds.【Method】In this experiment, the test materials are Bogeda Cashmere goat individual(n=279) of blood samples with random collection, the polymorphism of KAP13.1 gene in Bogeda Cashmere goat was detected by PCR-RFLP and DNA sequencing methods and so on,to explore the gene which whether is probably one of the candidate genes affecting cashmere traits.【Result】The results showed,KAP13.1 gene in Bogeda Cashmere goat had polymorphism,in the KAP13.1 gene exist three kinds of genotype: TT,GT and GG,and the genotype distribution was in disagreement with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium(P0.05),there was a missense mutation(c.186 T G),it is leads to p.48 Leu Arg.【Conclusion】This shows that KAP13.1 gene is probably one of the candidate genes with affecting cashmere traits.
