Study on the Vegetation Types within the Habitat of Rhinopithecus bieti

To understand the current situation of vegetation types in Rhinopithecus bieti's habitat settings,the integrated survey had been done by setting up 60 sample strips,12 sample plots and 60 small bamboo sample plots in distribution area of Rhinopithecus bieti since September to December of 2005,and March to July of 2006.According to the criteria for classification of vegetation types in Chinese Vegetation,the vegetation types within the habitat of Rhinopithecus bieti were divided into 14 vegetation type groups,10 vegetation types,15 vegetation sub-types,47 community groups.Meanwhile the paper outlined the structure and composition of major vegetation types of the habitat.
