Abstract
AIM To develop a HPLC method for the determination of the plasma protein binding rate of 2-methoxyestradiol(2-ME)in rat.METHODS The equilibrium dialysis was carried out to determine the protein binding rate of 2-ME in rat plasma.RESULTS The plasma protein binding rates of 2-ME at high,middle and low concentrations(2,4,8 mg·L-1)were(85.2 ± 3.4)%,(82.1 ± 5.3)%,(83.0 ± 5.2)%,respectively.CONCLUSION The method is sensitive,accurate,simple and reproducible,and meets the requirement of biological sample analysis.The plasma protein binding rate of 2-ME shows no concentration dependence,which provides better security for clinical medication.
