The correlation between serum IL-4 and IFN-γ with nasal mucosa eosinophil infiltration in Xinjiang Uygur and Han population in patients with allergic rhinitis

Objective:To evaluate the correlation of serum IL-4 and IFN-γ level and nasal mucosa eosinophilic in Xinjiang Uygur,Han people allergic rhinitis patients.Methods:Through double-antibody Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay(ELISA) 59 cases Uygur AR patients,50 patients Han's AR serum IL-4 and IFN-γ levels were analyzed,pathology smear was observed at high-power microscope and counting AR patients nasal smear eosinophil count.Results:There were not significantly different between Uygur and Han population of patients with allergic rhinitis serum IL-4 and IFN-γ levels(t values were 1.304 and 1.408,P0.05),Uygur and Han IL-4 levels of AR patients and nasal eosinophil counts were positively correlated(r=0.828 and 0.691,P0.01),IFN-γ levels and nasal eosinophil count was negatively correlated(r=-0.712 and-0.764,P0.01).Conclusion:There were not significantly difference between Uygur and Han population of patients with allergic rhinitis serum IL-4 and IFN-γ levels.There were connection with excess secretion of serum IL-4 and inhibition secretion of IFN-γ and Uggur,Han peopeo allergic rhinitis nasal eosinophil counts.
