By understanding the evolution of Chinese environmental policy,we can understand the development of environmental policy,and then we can see that Chinese environmental policy still has quite a long distance to achieve policy goals and needs to use the new policy tools to improve the environment and to achieve environmental policy objectives. Gradual emerging of voluntary environmental policy and economic environmental policy is the trend of the development of Chinese environmental policy.
