Abstract

Fenton's reagent is an advanced oxidant often used in wastewater treatment.The lemon acid wastewater is treated by Fenton's reagent and the effecting factors such as the quantity of H2O2 and FeSO4,the reaction time and pH are discussed.Results show that CODCr removal rate increases with that of H2O2 and FeSO4 concentration.The optimal operating conditions are as follows: H2O2 80mg/L of wastewater and FeSO4 0.5g/L,the reaction time 30min and pH 3.The removal rate will decrease when pH is less or more than 3.
