Low carbon economy and scrap application

Scrap industry is a new and developing industry of scrap cycle use as a metallic resource in China and plays an important role in enegysaving,low carbon and environment protection,and reuse of the metallic resource.In this paper,the utilization value of scrap in the age of low carbon economy,the situation and evolvement of supply and requirement for scrap since 2000,the developing trend of scrap market of our country in 2010,the prediction of scrap market for supply and requirement in 2011 are analyzed.In addition,a planning target of the scrap industry of our country in the period of Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the technical route are also discussed.
