Abstract
According to the 1995～1998 surveillance on the pulmonary tuberculosis in Nanshan district,the registration rate and the new registration rate of active pulmonary tuberculosis decreased by 33 3% and 1 8% respectively.And those of smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis decreased from 12 6 to 11 5 and increased from 19 9 to 30 2 per 100000 respectively.The cure rate of the newly registered smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis increased from 88 9% to 97 2%.And the effectiveness on the control of infection source increased from 37 2% to 72 1%.Thus the detection,Prevention and treatment of smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis has shown the significant effects.
