Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of decubital manual traction plus cervical Huatuo jiaji point injection in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods Seventy-two patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly allocated to a treatment group of 39 cases and a control group of 33 cases. The treatment group received decubital manual traction plus cervical Huatuo jiaji point injection and the control group, mechanical traction plus oral administration of non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after 2 courses of treatment. Results The total efficacy rate was 92.3% in the treatment group and 81.8% in the control group;there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusions Decubital manual traction plus cervical Huatuo jiaji point injection is an effective way to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
