Abstract
By analyzing the wind measurement data of Gansu Yumen Diwopu second-phase wind farm project,the monthly average wind speed in a year,the percentage of wind speed at various scales at height 10 m and 70 m as well as specific air direction distribution are obtained,thus the main wind direction,annual wind power density and applicable hours of annual wind energy can be estimated.This makes it possible to perform accurate assessment for the wind energy resource.
