Gymnasticalization,the Modern Variation of Tujia Hand-waving Dance

Tujia hand-waving dance is a traditional sport which is popular among Tujia nationality in western Hunan and Hubei,and southeast Chongqing.It is a combination of the song,dance,musical opera,sport and recreation of Tujia nationality and is the most representative dance of Tujia nationality.Taking for example three types of gymnastics of Tujia nationality which have the features of basic comportions,cadence and gymnastics typical of hand waving dance,this paper makes an analysis of the tendency of hand waving dance towards gymnastics.
