Effects of Nursing Intervention on Constipation of Patients with Cirrhosis

Abstract

Objective To explore the methods and effects of nursing intervention on the constipation in patients with cirrhosis.Methods 53 cirrhosis patients with constipation were divided into control group(n=26)and experimental group(n=27)randomly,the control group received routine care,the experimental group was taken to eating,behavior,psychology,and abdominal massage systematic nursing interventions,and the curative effects were compared between the both groups.Results The patients in the experimental group learned of constipation preventing knowledge,improved their lifestyle,and relieved constipation.The differences between the two groups had statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusion The effective nursing interventions can improve the patient's lifestyle,reduce the incidence of constipation,and improve the quality of life of patients.
