Abstract

diagnosis and treatment of diabetes according to Sanxiao did not meet the needs of treating diabetes in clinic, and diabetes due to stagnation of the liver - qi and diabetes due to insufficiency of the spleen are the two main types of pathogenesis, and diabetes due to insufficiency of the spleen and diabetes due to stagnation of the liver - qi can influence each other, and invigoration the spleen and replenishing qi and soothing the liver and regulate the flow of qi are the two main treatment methods of diabetes. This paper elaborated all sidedly the theory, and put forward the new theory of diabetes treated according with the liver and spleen.
