Abstract
In this paper, the creeping phenomenon of the reverse current of transistors and the sensitivity of thermistors are studied with regard to their applications as a temperature sensing element for the thermostat. The transient behavior of the thermostat is analyzed approximately and methods for measuring the time constants of the thermostat are described. Experimental results of some laboratory built thermostats are given.
