On Improving College English Teaching Based on Multiple Intelligence Theory

Abstract

The idea of individualized and independent study advocated by multiple intelligence theory is consistent with college English curriculum requirements.This paper analyses the current college English teaching and applies the theory to college English classes in order to develop the students' potential intelligences with the aim to improve their English comprehensive ability.
