Taiwan Issue & Identity Crisis in Taiwan Society

Abstract

The Taiwan Issue is actually the issue of reunification of China.When we are trying to realize Mr.DENG Xiaoping' s conception of One Country,Two Systems on Taiwan issue,we found that in the current Taiwan society, they could not reach a consensus on reunification and there appears crisis on ethnic identity,cultural identity and national identity.Analyzing the root cause for such crisis is the key to solve the problem.Taiwan issue and the identity crisis in Taiwan society could also be found in historical development.This is the topic to discuss in this article.
