Abstract
Objective:To investigate the changes of tumor necrosis factor\|α(TNF α) in patients with hypertension complicated cerebral hemorrhage(HCH) and the relationship between TNF α and insulin resistance(IR).Methods:Twenty\|three patients with HCH(group A);25 patients with hypertension (group B);21 healthy peoples(group C) were selected to compare fasting blood\|glucose(FBG), fasting blood\|insulin (FINS) and serum TNF α levels by oxidase method, RIA and ELISA, insulin sensitivity index(ISI) was also calculated.Results:Analysis of variance revealed that FINS, TNF α levels were higher( P 0 01) while ISI was lower( P 0 01) in group A than those in group B and group C.Correlation analysis showed that TNF α level in HCH patients was negatively correlated to ISI( r= -0 59), and positively correlated with FINS( r= 0 55).Conclusion:The results indicate that higher level of TNF α and IR may play an important role in development of hypertension complicated cerebral hemorrhage.
