Abstract
Objective To introduce the multiple complications of breast augmentation by injected polyacrylamide hydrogel and the methods of treating with . Method We reviewed the recently published literature of injected polyacrylamide hydrogel .We summarized the categories of postoperative complications and the managements of treating . Result There are multiple complications after injection, such as sclerosis, pain, infection, ulcerated sinus are the most common appearances. Some of the complications were caused by improper operation. The method of taking out the hydrogel and excising the pathologic tissues is the relative thorought management. Conclusion Multiple complications were observed after breast augmentation by injected polyacrylamide hydrogel, and cleaning it out of body is impossible. we set ourselves against augmentation mammaplasty by polyacrylamide hydrogel injection, and we suggest popularizing the standard method to avoid new injury by improper operation. System investigation should be held to explore the relationship between the polyacrylamide hydrogel and the health ,include the changes of physical and psychology .
