Abstract
Objective To introduce the treatment of the complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammaplasty. Methods From February 2003 to February 2007, the complications of 45 cases who accepted polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation manmoplasty were discussed, Operations were performed to remove the polyacrylamide hydrogel,and breast prostheses were implanted in 20 cases in this group. Results All patients got good results. Conclusions Treatment for the complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel was removing it by operation, and breast implant augmentation could improve the breast shape after hydrogel removing.
