Analysis on survey results of liver function levels in Lueyang area

Objective To understand the distribution and the change trends of the liver function levels among the healthy people in Lueyang area to provide the experimental basis for establishing the regional reference intervals of the liver function levels.Methods Taking healthy people in Lueyang area as the subjects for survey and analysis,the fresh serum samples were collected and detected 6 items of liver function by the Mindray ADVIL 1650 automatic biochemical analyzer.Results Alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL),direct dilirubin(DBIL),total protein(TP) and albumin(ALB) all showed the skewed distribution in the healthy people in Lueyang area.Analysis showed that the levels of ALT,AST,TBIL and DBIL appeared statistical difference between males and females(P0.05).But the levels of TP and ALB had no statistical difference between males and females(P0.05).Serum ALT and AST concentrations were increased firstly,then decreased with age increase.Serum TBIL and DBIL concentrations were increased after 40 years old with age increasing.Serum TP and ALB concentrations kept basially unchanged.Conclusion Among the healthy people in Lueyang area,the levels of ALT,AST,TBIL and DBIL have difference between men and women,so does among different age groups,but the levels of TP and ALB have no significant difference between different genders and among different age groups.So it is suggested that conducting the health assessment on physical examination population should distinguish different genders and different age groups.
