Abstract

The chemical composition of Cr26 high chromium cast iron and the effects of heat treatment on its the hardness,impact toughness were studied in this paper.And its microstructures of this kind high chromium cast iron treated by different heat treatment technology were studied as well.The results show that the hardness of the experimental high chromium cast iron is upward of 60 HRC when the high chromium cast iron is quenched in special agent after heating to 1 040 ℃ and hold at this temperature for six hours and then tempered at 275 ℃ or 440 ℃ for six hours.And its impact toughness is up to 10 J/cm2.The wear-resisting property is 1.32 times higher than that of the Cr15 high chromium cast iron and 1.95 times higher than the high manganese steel ZGMn13.
