Abstract

From dead chickens, one virus was isolated using SPF egg and chicken embryo fibroblast. It was able to agglutinate chicken erythrocytes and this heamagglutination could be inhibited by Newcastle Disease antiserum. The recurrent infection,MDT,IPCI,IVPI and other biological property, barren spot,cross-enutralization and electronograph test proved it was a velogenic virus strain.
