Construction of Civil Society and Rationalization of Social Structure of China

Since the reform and opening of China, there arise some irrational phenomenon in the differentiation of social structure of China, such as extreme disparity between the rich and the poor, the lack of the mechanism of social integration. The social structure basically is pyramid in the pre-modern society. A robust civil society can effectively overcome irrational social structure. Meanwhile the characteristics of the history and reality of China mean that there is great difference between the construction of civil society of China and the Western society. It should be conscious, government-dominant and cooperative in China.
