Abstract

The engineering of a combination of water transfer and shipping project in Nansihu-Dongpinghu is an important part of the engineering of South-to-North Water Diversion and Beijing-Hangzhou Canal.This paper gives the designed navigable water level of this channel by analyzing the hydrologic data of the channel,and combining with the situation of water diversion of the eastern route engineering of South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the flood drainage function of Liangji Canal and Liuchang River.Suggestions on determination of the navigable water stage to similar comprehensive channel are also given.
