Abstract

Ontologyis a concept developed in the study of philosophy.In recent years,the research and application of ontology is concerned by the extensive application of knowledge engineering.This paper reviews the research and application of ontology on the current shams,main contents include:Ontology definition,Ontology projects,Ontology applications domain and Ontology applied research.Finally,this paper points out the main research directions of Ontology.
