Study on Security System of Developing Water-saving Agriculture in Arid Area of Northwest China

The water shortage became one of the serious constraints in arid area of Northwest China.Implementing the model of water-saving agriculture became the necessary choice of promote agriculture sustainable development,environment protection and the whole social and economic development in arid area of Northwest China.With the status of water resources development and the main problems existed in the development of water-saving agriculture in arid area of Northwest China,the authors established the security system of developing water-saving agriculture in arid area of Northwest China:enhanced propaganda and training and increase awareness of water-saving agriculture;made scientific planning and promote sustainable development of agriculture;built complete system and support the development of water-saving agriculture;perfected legal system and protected the development of water-saving agriculture.
