Abstract
Personality is an individual humanness standard.Each philosopher's thought system has its own set of ideal personality mode so did Confucius who established a set of ideal personality system based on benevolence and ceremony,including gentleman,patriot and saint.Among them,the most basic personality is embodied by the gentleman realm mainly based on wisdom and courage while the patriot realm embodies the arrogant personality based on the Tao and country and the saint realm is the embodiment of the doctrine of the mean personality based on the world.With the interpretations of the philosophers of recent history in China,the theory of Confucius' ideal personality has a profound influence on today's personality construction.
