Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of personalized nursing on improving the life quality of patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods 80 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted in our hospital from January, 2011 to January, 2013 were selected as the subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. All the patients were given active treatment of the original diseases. In addition, the observation group was given personalized nursing. The pain level, psychological symptoms, life quality, self-nursing ability and nursing service satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of the pain level and psychological symptoms of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the life quality, self-nursing ability and nursing service satisfaction were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Personalized nursing can effectively improve the life quality of the patients with lumbar disc herniation, reduce the pain level and psychological symptoms, and increase the awareness of self-nursing and nursing service satisfaction of the patients.
