Abstract
Objective: To study MRI findings of hepatic hilum cholangiocarcinoma and evaluate its diagnostic value and preoperative evaluation value.Methods: MRI findings in 21 patients of hepatic hilum cholangiocarcinoma with pathologically proved were retrospectively analyzed,the results of MRCP classification versus clinical classification,preoperative evaluation versus operative result were compared.Results: All patients were found intrahepatic biliary duct dilation and discontinuity of hilar ducts,16 cases had soft tissue mass at portal vein,and delayed enhancement was also found.No significant difference was found between MRCP and operation classification(P0.05).The accuracy of preoperative evaluation in all patients of hepatic hilum cholangiocarcinoma was 81%(17/21).Conclusion: MRI is a valid method in the diagnosis and preoperative evaluation of hilar cholangiocarcinoma.
