The dual nature of educational activities in changing people's fate and improving their mentality has been changed into that of simple and extreme usefulness and utilitarianism in the practice, resulting in the conflicts between the nature of education and the spirit in the practical activities and eliminating the value and meaning of education. The meaning function of education emphasizes the influence of education on the formation of people's healthy mentality and virtuous character as well as the offer of happy study and life to the education people. It is the necessary approach to the progress of education to promote the transformation of educational ideas from usefulness to meaning.
