Abstract

The morphology and ultra-microstructure of the Y-type carbon nanotubes were analyzed and characterized by SEM,XRD and HRTEM.The growth mechanism of Y-type carbon nanotubes was discussed.The results show that Y-type carbon nanotubes encapsulate Fe nanopaticles.The diameter of the carbon nanotubes is in the range of 50~60nm. The fluorescence spectrum shows that Y-type carbon nanotubes have fluorescence emission properties
