Abstract
Objective:To study on prevention and treatment of complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammaplasty.Methods:The clinical information of 43 cases with complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injectioin for augmentation mammaplasty were analysed and summarized.Results: Among the 43 cases,callosity in 9 cases,haematoma in 6 cases,infection in 9 cases,fistula from injection point in 3 cases,asymmetry in 8 cases,leakage of filling in 2 cases,pain in 5 cases,hard mass in 1 cases were found.All cases were satisfied after reasonable treatment.Conclusions: The reason for the undeserved complications of polyacrylamide hydrogel injection for augmentation mammaplasty is unstandard operation.
