Influence of Integrative Rehabilitation Therapy on the Recovery of Dysphagia from Cerebral Infarction

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the influence of integrative rehabilitation therapy(functional training,acupuncture,vocastim-master)on the recovery of dysphagia from cerebral infarction.Methods:Sixty patients were randomly divided into 3 groups.The patients in group A(n=21)received functional training,acupuncture and vocastim-master,those in group B received acupuncture and vocastim-master,and those in group C received vocastim-master only.Results:After treatment for 3 weeks,there was a significant improvement on dysphagia(P0.01),and the effects were more significant in group than in groups B and C(P0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive rehabilitation treatment is the best curative project on the function recovery in stroke patients with dysphagia.
