A Study on the Problems Threatening the Sustainable Development of China's Marine Economy

Since the 1990s, China's marine economy has made great progress. However, at the same time, some problems that affect the sustainable development of China's marine economy appear. These problems include marine resources degeneration, marine environmental pollution, threat to china's marine rights, gap of the marine science and technology, unreasonable layout of the marine industry and the shortcomings of the national marine management system. These six problems will chronically and directly affect the sustainable development of China's marine economy.
