Abstract
A high sensitive and simple spectrophotometric method for the determination of isoniazid based on the inhibition of hemoglobin for the oxidation of H2O2 with acid chrome blue K(ACBK) was developed. The percentage inhibition(I%) of system is calculated under the optimal experimental conditions. The calibration curve is linear in the range of 3.65×10-8~3.65×10-6 mol/L with the detection limit of 5.4×10-9 mol/L.The relative standard deviation of this method is 3.86% at 1.27×10-6 mol/L for 11 determinations. This method can be suitable for the determination of isoniazid in isoniazid injections with satisfactory results.
