Moyamoya disease:analysis of 17 cases for clinical characteristics and DSA

Objective: To study the clinical characteristics and DSA manifestation of moyamoya disease. Methods: To analysis the clinical characteristics and features of DSA for 17 patients with moyamoya disease which were diagonosed. Results; ischemic was 14 cases, hemorrhage was 3 cases. On DSA, bilateral arterial stenosis or occlusion was in 6 patients and the unilateral in 11 patients, Abnormal vessel network in the brain were found in all of the 17 cases. Clinical and CT character characteristics of the partial moyamoya disease were not consistent with the DSA. Conclusion: It is suggested that there is a great possible of suffering moyamoya disease when accruing cerebral vascular disease recurrent cerebral infarction or venticular hemorrhage,or SAH in young and adult people.
