A Study on the Function of Philosophy and Social Sciences in the Process of Building the Innovative Society

Abstract

In the new historical period of building the innovatiove society,philosophy and social sciences bear a great historical mission.Emphasis should be laid on the four major functions of philosophy and social sciences play:function of motive force,guide effect,value judgment and function of coordination.In the process of constructing the innovative society,we could follow the five major ways to make use of the function of philosophy and social sciences,guide system innovation with the innovation of concept,push social progress through the theoretical innovation of the social sciences,stimulate scientific and technical innovation with system innovation,push social progress by scientific and technical innovation,and build the innovative environment by cultrral innovation.
