Effect of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate and Tiopronin on preventing hepatic injury induced by chemotherapy in breast cancer

Objective To compare Magnesium Isoglycyrrhiznate and Tiopronin′s effect on preventing hepatic injury induced by chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer.Methods 118 patients for breast cancer chemotherapy were divided randomly into three groups: Magnesium Isoglycyrrhiznate treatment group(n=40),Tiopronin treatment group(n=40) and control group(n=38).The data were analyzed after all the chemotherapy was given.Results The results showed that 1(2.5%) case had Ⅰ° hepatic function abnormality in Magnesium Isoglycyrrhiznate treatment group,5 cases(12.5%) with hepatic function abnormality in Tiopronin treatment group,11 cases with hepatic function abnormality in blank control group,28.94%.Conclusion Magnesium Isoglycyrrhiznate can be widely used in LC.
