Abstract

One of the features of XU Kai's Interpretation to Academic Talking to Explain Words is to explain the ancient meanings through citing ancient classics.After an investigation to this,it is found that it interprets XU Shen's annotations further,supplements the other meanings to the characters and points out other applications of characters.Finally,this paper points out some weak points in this book.
