A View of Technology and Environment in Terms of Technological Ideology of Ecological Marxism

Abstract

A leading school of contemporary foreign Marxism,ecological Marxism has a distinct understanding of the relationship between technology and environment. According to ecological Marxism,negative ecological effects of technology result not from technology itself but from capitalist use of technology. It is only by means of social transformation that man-made technological alienation can be removed and harmony between men and nature can be really attained.
