Abstract
Tributyl citrate was synthesized catalyzed by AlPW/C under microwave irradiation, The reaction conditions were optimized by the uniform design. The optimized conditions are as follow: the molar ratio of acid to alcohol was 1∶3.5,microwave irradiation time is 20 minute, microwave power is 360 w, ratio of catalyst is 2.0%. Under this conditions, ester yield up to 93.2% and the purity of the product is over 97%. The catalyst can be used repeatedly without distinct loss in activity.
