Abstract

The application of wavelet analysis in fault diagnosis is growing rapidly.There are many different wavelet base to use but no accepted procedure for choosing among them, the analysis results by using them have great difference. This paper describes the significant properties of wavelet base, and analysis behavior of transient signal in wavelet transform, result on some methods for how to choose wavelet base in analysis transient signal.
