Combination of Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine in the Treatment of Elderly Hypertensive

Abstract
Objective To discuss combination of Chinese traditional and western medicine in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension results in the study,to better guide clinical treatment.Methods 76 patients in our hospital in elderly hypertensive patients,were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,32 cases in control group,with nifedipine controlled release tablets in the treatment of;the treatment group 44 cases,in the control group treated with Chinese herbal medicine treatment in our hospital.Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 95.5%,the total effective rate in control group was 75.0%,the effect of the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of hypertension in the elderly,patients recovered well,obvious curative effect,it is worthy of clinical use.
