Abstract

Objective: To compare the sedative effection of propofol and midazolam in the children with cardiovascular surgery.Methods: Propofol or midazolam was used in each group of 20 children undergoing cardiovacular surgery.Results: Both of propofol and midazolam got satisfactory sedative effections,and the total effective rate is 92.5%.Conclusion: Propofol and midazolam are both effective sedtive drugs in in the children with cardiovascular surgery.We can chose different of them according to the duration of mechanical ventilation predictively.
