Surgical Treatment of Gluteus Minimus Contracture

Objective:To study the cases of gluteaus minimus contracture with obliquity of pelvis and false unequal leg length,report the experience of the improved surgical treatment method.Methods:Cut the contracture tract and extended the tendon to 32 cases of gluteus minimus with obliquity of pelvis and false unequal leg length,after surgery trained gluteal muscle contracture drill and pendular movement pelvis exercise.Results:After operation follow-up period over six months,all patients were normal.Conclusion:The contracture of middle and minimus gluteus were able obliquity of pelvis and false unequal leg length.It is more hard of obliquity of pelvis about glueaus minimus contracture than about gluteaus middle contracture.The release lengthening operation of glueaus minimus contracture is important treatment method of obliquity of pelvis and false unequal leg length.
