On Connotation and Development Path of Regional Industrial Upgrading

The current Chinese Economy development enters the new habit, symbolizing the beginning of the upgrading process of the Chinese economy. Exploring the effective way to speed up the pace of industrial promotion has become the core problem of the domestic economy development in various regions. However, in many areas industrial upgrading practice in our country, some cognitions are still in ambiguity, such as connotation of industrial upgrading, direction, promoting path and upgrading pattern. That will affect the investment size and the field of regional industry, it also restricts the smooth transfer of the rural labor force, and will result in the inefficient utilization of scarce resources. This paper, on the basis of combing and evaluating the present industrial upgrading theories, explicitly points out that the industrial upgrading is the long term process of industry development ability breeding, a process of gradually adaption and development of the market,an innovation process based on resource conservation and ecological environment protection. And it puts forward some ideas such as the industrial upgrading must respect the development of the market economy rules,and match the resource of an area, with the basic goal of upgrading the industry potential, etc.
